it really brings games down. I like free flowing matches and if it's a good game you don't mind losing sometimes but when it's constent fouling it makes me wonder why I bother with it. Plus most teams now are the same players with same formations. They have clearly purchased millions of coins so have zero creativity in the teams you face.

Most people just choose pace as there core part of the team. I love using Kroos but I very rarely come up against a team using him. For defenders I can understand to counter the Sweaty strikers.
Yeah, my friend keeps fouling me when I play him and it disrupts pretty much every 1-2 I do and it drives me nuts. He also used to just constantly lob balls over the top until I had a go at him for it 'cause it was literally all he did and it was boring to play against.
Kids who spend hundreds on coins/pack and then build cookie cutter teams just to lob long balls to Eto'o and Aguero are just embarrassing. They're not even good and they only score because of the broken defence AI in this game that allow lobbed through balls to be so effective. I personally love making my own hybrids as it makes my teams feel unique and interesting.
Eto'o or Aubamayang up front with Walcott or Blaszkowski down the wing it's just so one dimensional. Run down the wing and cross it. I like have good passers in the middle so players like Kroos, Fabregas and Modric are great. I do like at least a bit of pace down the wings though. I tried Kroos on the right of a 4-2-3-1 and didn't like his lack of pace at all.

This does my head in as well. If they would ban coin sellers then you would see more creativity in peoples teams and the best players would also naturally come down in price. Perhaps also if EA packs were not so awful people wouldn't go to coin sites. I was tempted but resisted, been through several different teams.
Nothing amazing but does what he says on the tin. Finishing and heading.
4* skills helps as well but it's criminal he doesn't have a 5* weak this year.

Mario Gomez.... I only played it him two matches as I ended up selling the team. I was 4-0 down and pretty much gave up so I subbed Gomez on the 60th minute to test him he scored 3 headers and 2 more goals

Fired up my PS3 last night and tried to play online the game crashed twice around 20 minute mark online both with UT and seasons the commentary went from the game then the sound then it just froze.
I thought oh oh here goes the PS3.
The machine gave the three beeps then rebooted
So I decided to try offline mode. However this worked perfectly the game booted ok and I got two games in no problem.
I did give the disk a wipe could it have been that?
Is there any problems with the online mode and could it force the PS3 to reboot?

On the PS4 version, in UT, how do you get to see the workrate of your players? I have seen on here people showing their players workrate (medium, high etc) in defence and attack, but can't work out how to see them on my own players.

How the hell do I make money on this? I slowly build up around 10k from games, but then try to get a few players so end up spending it. Should I be buying low and selling high on things like contracts to try and make money? Or just keep playing games?

R3 on their card in either your club or squad. Shows work rates on bottom left.
Just sounds like the game froze and locked up the PS3 - worry if it keeps happening. Hmm losing commentary might mean a disc issue as Ive accidently ejected the game (previous versions) while playing and lost commentary. Could be the BDD is on its way out?Guys

From my experience 90% of the time packs are waste of money, best way to make money is keep playing try and find some good deals on the transfer market and sell the players for profit. Its hard when you start off with no coin I spent £6.80 and bought 100k coins off ebay which helped a lot.
More like 98% of the time, if not more!
Squirrel, buy coin boosts form the EAFC catalogue if you can, play lower divisions to get the few K bonus for relegation/hold/promotion/champion, and keep building up form there, if you feel the urge, buy the fifa points an dopen a few packs.
There is some trading to be done, but right now, with TOTS round the corner, it won't be as easy as a few months ago.

1. Have 2 teams and rotate them every match (one team one the pitch the other on the bench/reserves) by setting up 2 squads and swapping between them. - This keeps all your players on 99 fitness, therefore no need to buy fitness cards therefore saving you a HUGE chunk of coins
2. Buy as many gold managers as you can on the cheap (or shiny bronze/silver managers) these help boost contracts, so say you buy a 12 contract card, after the boost you end up getting up to 18 games instead of 12, therefore saving you a HUGE chunk of coins on contracts.
3. Never buy packs with coins, use money if you really want to buy packs but your honestly better off just not buying packs.
4. Play seasons mode, you can get up to like 10,000 coins for being relegated from the top division or something like that, more if you stay up or win it, etc. Seasons is where the big money is to be made from games.
5. At the start use discard teams, buy players for their discard price 250 coins for non rares or 650 iirc for shiny players, the players that sell for discard aren't great but adequate when starting out. After they run out of contracts discard them then buy them again = free contracts and free players. You essentially lose zero coins and it's all profit because all the money put into players you get back and you don't need to buy any cards like contracts, etc.
6. Stick to cheap effective teams like BPL, Brazil and Serie A until you save up 200K+, e.g.

These 2 teams are good enough to beat any other team IMO if your decent at the game and they are cheap.
Just to add:
they must have negotiation of 1%+ to extend contract length, no point wasting coins with managers on 0% negotiation.
