FIFA 14

Well it is EA so that's to be expected :p

I'm hoping the Ignite engine comes to PC on 15, fed up of same old graphics/engine with just updated kits and transfers.
 
Best avoid then, after I spent about 20 quid on packs at the start of the month and got nothing I said I would never buy packs again. I got wrapped up in trying to get a TOTS card, I should have known better :rolleyes:

Then I finally buy one and it ruins my team :p couldn't make it up.

I just played a team similar to this with the most noticeable being:

TOTS Manzukic
TOTS Reus
Robben
TOTS Sokratis
TOTS Kroos

All he seemed to wanna do is to cross spam the ball to Manzukic. He eventually scored his goal by lob/crossing the ball when 1 on 1 just to head the ball in. I won the game 2-1 in extra time but boy did he like to run down the line to cross & trying the kick off glitch.

Couldn't resist to message him after the game but somehow i was the one with the sweaty team :confused:

My team was:

Costa - Manzukic
Jese - Koke - Javi Martinez - Shaqiri
Filipe - Miranda - Pepe - Juanfran
 
he was just useless, no strength, no pace (Which, obviously I was aware of), his ball control was that of someone with no legs :(

Replaced him with Suarez and all is good with the world!
 
Ah OK. Each to their own but I found him deadly paired with Benzema (442). Using Aguero instead now though and I do think Aguero is better overall.

Suarez I just found OK but he was in a team I didn't really feel comfortable with so do need to re-try. Don't have a team for him unfortunately unless I get a Liverpool CM or RM to replace Yaya or Nani :(.
 
OK I'm slowly starting to lose my 'love' for FUT14, purely because it feels that the majority of opponents Ive played have had a frontal lobotomy - I just don't understand how they enjoy such one dimensional engine exploiting tactics - its just so mind-numbingly boring to play against...

Its like if in previous FUTs, everyone used a 5atb team

I agree - sick of playing every game where someone tries the kickoff exploit (it usually fails anyway) and just spamming long thru balls on the off chance they get a lucky break...

every fifa has some sort of exploit that these kind of players will use......

I cant see fifa every fixing every one kind of exploit as they only release yearly updates....
 
My point was more that this year it seems that's only what they do, never seen it as pervasive in older FUTs til you get to higher levels of cup/seasons.

Hell I've games now where people in decent central positions to shoot pass it wide just to cross - its maddening...
