Tim you were right about TOTS Bale, got to try him out and he's rubbish on the right, balance still ruins him as you have to cut in and his turning on the ball is still slow so defenders just take it off him, his shot is insane and once he's running no one can catch him but I've found TOTS Di Maria more effective because he's so agile.

Thats the last thing you want, don't want him becoming a shell of his former self, but if he can give another year of good performances, then go for it!

I was worried that may be the case :(

Tempted by MOTM Di Maria for RCM in 433-4, but at the same time, I could save myself ~75-100k and play the TOTS at RM/CM on 7 chem!
 
Some of them are. The Serie A ones are affordable even for the better players. As you'd expect the TOTS cards for the better leagues are expensive but they are cheaper than I would have expected.
 
The only thing I dislike is the kick off glitch, but even then I've never had any one actually score against me with it. I couldn't give a **** how someone plays, those sames mechanics are available to everyone, so I don't see the problem. I just play and try to enjoy myself, I score from crosses, lobbed through balls, non-lobbed through balls, long shots, etc. I've grown out of getting annoyed at FIFA, it's pointless.

as in the new game mode? i thought it had been delayed? is it out or are you preparing for it?

how are the links done? iirc from the video it had to do something with the confederation the player plays for.

so basically it's like european all stars or african all stars, south american all stars.

they would be the top 3 i imagine

just pick any players from countries from that region and throw them together.

i'll be interested in south american tbh, suarez up front with a brazilian team but with an argentinian GK or something.
 
The update goes live later today, EA actually got to work quickly and fixed it for once. I imagine they'll wait till TOTS is over at 6pm so people spend more $$$$$$

There's a few players back in the game who were OP last year, Emenike is back lol. They've nerfed his pace a lot though.

I very much agree :) except it aint presence, its height! :p ramsey is nearly a hobbit at 5ft 10, yet gerrard is 6ft, which instantly gives people double the tackling ability/general strength.

i've been saying this for about 4 years now

height plus pace = monster in ultimate team

it's why I used Santon and De Ceglie in fifa 10 ultimate team over maicon (in his prime), and who was rated like +10 over santon.

it's always been this way and why neymar isn't as good as he should be, same with messi.

i always look at players heights when comparing similar players and it's a factor which goes into my end decision.

there's an update on PSN right now - only a few hundred MB is it that? or another one on top?

Well I'll give him a go, picked him up for 60k so not losing out on too much money if he's rubbish.

TOTS Pepe is a beast though, his aggression is ridiculous.
