Thought I would go back to the old faithful 3atb for a few teams today, knocked these together:
Both seem to work pretty well, have ended up playing the 3421 as 343 and it feels a lot better, Ben Arfa just gets instacrushed to much at RF, but at RW he can be awesome, Benzema isn't really suiting me at LW, might get his NIF back and play Villa on at LW.
TOTS Lacazatte really has potential but just isn't doing it, 90 on card pace, 91 accel & sprint and he just doesn't really move, also has terrible positioning, so any calls on a Ligue 1 striker? Ibra is out the question due to cost!

IF Berbatov, seriously. I used him for about 20-30 games and he is so much fun to play with. He really is your next best striker apart from Ibra.

low/low workrates is actually useful when you just need a striker to sit up top all game.
I've played a few games today and swap Lewandowski with Messi, some strange things are going on e.g.
Neuer unable to save anything, only making about 4 saves a game they are pretty simple goals going in.
my team unable to pass the ball, only thing i've done is swap the ST around once the game as started (to keep 100 chemistry)

Can one player create so many problems with my team?

I am a believer that it comes down to squad rating. Just for laugh, swap all your subs for 3 Low rated bronze CM, 2 ST and 2 CB's.
It should bring the Squad rating down to 80ish and then watch you team work depending on the other teams rating.

i agree, i already have lowest rated players as subs, what seems to happen when i have Messi in my team the rating is 81, without him its 80. 80 rating making my team work perfectly i think.
80 the sweet spot? i need to do more testing, but i created another squad with different players including Messi and he played really well, that was a 80 rated squad team.
Maybe i'm on to something here ...

EDIT, buying Błaszczykowski never worked, Messi increase my team rating by two still a 81 rated team.

I've only played on and off a handful of games at a time over the past 2-3 months. I'm nowhere near as good as I used to be.
And that wasn't even really that good compared to FIFA 13

Those are probebly my best players on the account i ithink, There is lots more cheaper players.
Squad rating of 85 seems to be where things can start to play up, but thats probably just in the mind again, under 80 is a pointless thing to aim for, I remember my 85 rated team vs Rybo's with his bronze bench, Ibra etc.. and 79 rated ovr, lets just say, well, Neymar, he...

tbh, you are on to something there, I packed him when he was out and used him as a false 9 and he was really good, LL combined with low pace did make him a bit docile, he may be better as CAM with James put top top with Falcao, but I'll definately grab him, cheers Bobby, I had completely forgotten about him!
