Fifa 16

I only really play UT so for me it depends on the state of that and the gameplay I wont be getting it on the day it gets released like I have before im going wait to see what the gameplay is like as every fifa ive played has a OP way to score and it just ruins the game as all you get is constantly spamming crosses/over the top throughballs all game and it gets boring quick
 
It seemed to improve until about 12 and then started getting worse again.

Also I'm not a fan of Origin either and so far I've managed to pass on getting any games that use it, go EA and their legions of crap!
 
I will get it, though I hope they fix dodgy penalties(Costa gets brushed by a defender and goes cartwheeling to the ground), otherwise I quite like UT even though I mostly suck.

Is it known how many women teams there are?

Needs to be all the teams from the FIFA Womens World Cup at least.

EA sports copied the Pro Evo model, and then gradually added a few more bells n whistles to it at a time when Konami were flapping around in dissarray. But it seems like the 'creatives' at EA sports now just don't know what to do with the game. They don't know how to genuinely progress it (perhaps cos they don't have nothing to copy anymore), so now they just seem to settle for trying to make each game 'different' than the last. This is certainly how FIFA 15 felt anyhow, which was great fun to pick up and play to start with, until you got to grips with it and all the horrible gaping holes in the game started to become apparent.

As for Origin, I have never been prevented from playing my games in the absence of an internet connection by Origin. Whereas Steam has locked me out of my games many times when I wasn't able to phone home. I would take, and from now on will take Origin over Steam each and everytime I can. If a game insists on Steam only, then I will have to look into the Skidrow version from now on.

The 3 personal positives with this version.

1.AI on legendary play some nice footy.

2.I haven't seen any female player physiques looking like 18 stone muscle-bound rugby union/league forwards.

3.Heart of Midlothian, founded 1874, back in the game.

Oh dear.
 
Was browsing google and came upon Shankleys no 120/144hz comment on this one! :D


So i can remove this from my wants can I? Basically it seems you might be able to do 120fps without V-Sync but no way to have 120hz + V-Sync?

Hmm so its just him and AMD? What happens mate set no fps limit and let the game run at 120+fps and then bang on Nvidia driver level V-Sync and thats that?

No stutter or anything odd as you know yourself a lot of games are a real pos with HFR.
 
Could be a problem... people say it reverts and there isnt a refund or try option. G-Sync is different so i guess i need to find someone who can lock on regular v-sync at 120.
 
120hz wouldn't enable for me on a AMD hd7950. I tried different drivers, fesh install of windows, radeonpro, registry edits, various other third party programs, but nothing seemed to work. I also noticed that most people reporting the problem had AMD cards, so I decided to get an Nvidia gtx 970 as I wanted to upgrade anyway. Since making the switch to Nvidia, I can now use 120hz.
 
Yea BUT can you use V-Sync to stop tearing with 120hz? Fifa simply has a V-Sync option that caps at 60 (30fps penalty kicks) and you would have to set it to unlimited but then you lose the ability to V-Sync.

G-Sync like Ayahuasca wouldnt matter but for everyone else it would mean tearing or stutter. This seems to be the problem people have apparantly did this and used forced Nvidia V-Sync but are reporting microstutter or pauses. I do not think i will buy at this rate so much conflicting BS typical of a EA/Ubisoft on PC. Maybe Fifa 17? :P
