I have no idea how they can do this.... Contain doesn't allow you to get so close and mirror - manually controlling L2 jockey you wouldn't be able to twist and turn so close either (plus they are not moving like a jockeying player)

Ive seen other players mention this on the fifa forums.... just wondered if any other ocuker know how to do it or came up against it..... its impossible to play against as you cant turn the player and have to pass back always

Had this a few times last night, no room to move at all, 3 people in each of mine, almost warping in to intercept even the simplest of passes, not at all infuriating....
 
I've bought 89 Van Basten and have him up front with Mbappe (as he's so good for me). Rui Costa, Nainggolan, Kante and Bakayoko in midfield. Defence is a bit gimped, Rudiger and Tah at CB, with Fahrmann in goal (he's always a pain to play against). I've found Rudiger really good and Tah has similar stats etc. Assuming the team plays well there are plenty of easy upgrades to get in the defensive positions.

Hoping Van Basten is a monster.

High pressure is back after the patch as it’s not as easy to pass anymore and closing down quickly causes your opponent to make mistakes trying to pass it at daft angles, couple it with custom tactics and I’ve came across players who’ve got you closed down almost constantly. I came up against a guy using it with Gullit and Viera in midfield and it was probably the most frustrating game I’ve played as they already boss everything.

Robin, what chem do you use on Rui costa? I've got hawk and his long range finesse is awful just misses every time. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?

Do I need hunter on him?

The goals he's scored for me are either headers, one long range first time hit along the floor and a few one on ones. Anything else just no. Does he have too much shooting power and not enough finishing or something?

Even hawk Werner curls them in with accuracy compared to costa.

One thing about costa he has got me a few assists on corners, with Mendy of all people heading them.in from the centre spot and beyond!

Farhman is okay in net, hes my curtemh chesp keeper.

Edit I have Rudiger too as he is tall, relatively quick and does well for me there.
 
I have Hunter on Rui Costa, just because it gives you the option to easily break beyond the defence and score, not that he's slow without it. Whip corners in to the near post and try and get a glancing header on it. I don't really have trouble scoring with him, be it outside the box or in, but he's not as good as the best strikers.

First game with MvB (DKT though), 4 goals and an assist, each goal was a cracker. He's unusual in that he's very tall (he looks massive), but still agile, fast and strong. He's very different to Crespo/Shevchenko/Larsson, but early impressions are very positive. Nainggolan and Kante are running riot in midfield. :D

If you really don't like him (give him a fair chance though), upgrade him to Del Piero/Luis Hernandez. If you like small fast players, Del Piero is supposed to be one of the best on the game.

It's an option ta. Gomez with deadeye is my super sub atm with Depay but I just designed this

Used to love the bones of him in FUT15! CM in 433-4 behind Zola at CAM or F9 in 433-5 with Paulo Futre on the left, gutted that people like Futre & Suker aren't in this one!
