Why what happened?

I'll be honest one game i won in the DKT was awful. 3-0 up in 20 minutes to 3-3 by half time. Then he time wasted every possible opportunity so so bad. Won 7-6...that was just a semi final too

WL is very frustrating, it makes you angry like nothing else. You'll see when you play it.

The standard of player is generally high which amplifies flaws within the game engine and can just be incredibly frustrating. A lot of players will do anything to win, such as time wasting from the 70th minute, consecutively pausing the game after scoring to try and annoy you, etc.

Like Robbo just said. Rewards means it brings the worst out of people. Combined with decent players and in game flaws is just aggrevating.

I've got a massive issue where when I'm 2-0 up I still lose, most probably down to me. But one of the games today is a kick off goal and the other is a pass back to the keeper and the keeper did the auto kick and it hit his defender and he obviously controlled it and tapped it in.

Im more than happy to say I've been outplayed and a lot of times I do but on the other hand going 2/3 up and having most of the game and still losing to cheesy goals where its not in my hands is just deflating and not worth the head ache to me. I've not played one full weekend league this year I can't bare it, last year I played as many as I could.

I haven't got him yet, need a couple more players for the last SBC. Used the last few games of his loan earlier though and he's so much fun, defenders bounce off him due to his strength which is game changing when you consider all of his other stats.
 
No offence intended, of course. If you struggle to qualify then I kinda get it but passing it around the back is never okay, IMO. Trying to defend a lead never works out for me anyway, just gotta keep the pressure up by attacking. Understandable if momentum has switched and your highly rated players cannot complete a 5 yard pass, though.

Sorry I misread I thought you meant that it was a waste of time playing in the dkt. I don’t time waste, except if the other player is being really doushey. If they are frantically time wasting and then I go ahead I slow my play right down and watch the replays etc. If they are playing like normal human beings I do the game too.
 
Oh, no not at all. I love the DKT. Aside from the content it's the only enjoyable thing about FIFA. You have to be a special type of **** for me to waste time. Think it's only happened twice so far this FIFA. Love cupping the ear after being dabbed on in the first 10 mins after they get a flukey goal. Gotta make sure it doesn't come back to bite you, though. :D

That flute celebration drives me insane. Maybe I'm just too courteous because I know how rage enduing the game is but I just grab the ball and skip all replays. Apology celebration if I get some AIDs go my way.

That was a friendly they broadcast by mistake.

EA delayed the start by 2 hours due to a **** up, chose a format that would've taken far longer than a day to complete, messed up the draw for the third round of games which they've now scrapped, including results of players that had already won their matches, and then postponed the tournament until tomorrow without telling anyone.

Given the appalling camera work, commentary and organisation they might as well cancel the entire event because it's been another PR disaster for EA.
 
Wow, that is something else, but not even remotely surprising. I feel for the french commentator because he seemed nice enough and was trying his hardest, but he shouldn't have been there.
 
There's a player on the EA forums that's ripped them to pieces, its quite eye opening to read how incompetent they actually are.

He's also commented on how laggy the game feels offline which is echoed by other pros.
 
Today was farcical.

As for WL I'm 6-6; was 3-6 before moving from 4-1-2-1-2 narrow to a 4-2-3-1 and winning 3 on the trot. Might be something I wind up sticking to if it keeps producing results.
