Cheers. I prefer my Liverpool team and playing a possession/counter attacking game but defending is very difficult with such abysmal defenders. That penalty annoyed me, don't think you touched him, so I skied it :D

Loved the second game, very few chances and a lot of good defending. Completely different to the first. You're very consistent with your play :)

I thought you skied it :p biggest gripe is easy penalty's in fifa 18 they are too cheap.

First game was nice and open plenty of chances, second was difficult Mertens and Gomez are too weak but very nimble and suit my play they just couldn't get past Rio though lol!!!

Over all enjoyable thanks for the games, let me know if you fancy anymore soon! :)
 
14-11 for me. Had some awful button delay last night. Played someone with TOTY Ronaldo and Prime Bergkamp. Went 2-0 both goals with Ronaldo, nearly raged. Beat him 3-2 in the end, he wasn't a good player to be fair. More fifa points than sense!
 
I was facing one Elite1 player after another in my last 10 games of WL so gave up on 19 wins. Don't fully understand how the matchmaking works. Sometimes you'll get 5-6 easier games in a row, then 5-6 games against people who are ridiculously good.

I currently have Fahrmann in goal but think I'm going to get Neuer. No saves with feet trait but I'm wondering if that's pretty overrated. Loads of goals are from rebounds and other types of shots I think Neuer would save. If you use low driven shots properly, they can't be saved anyway. When I used him ages ago I thought he was great. De Gea is probably still the best but I'll give Neuer a go first, he's half the price.
 
I don't really understand it but I know if I win 5 in a row there is no chance I'll get a poor player, if I lose 2 in a row I am guaranteed to get a poor player. I don't think it goes on your total wins, just the run you're on.
 
Oh, and another thing I noticed is the amount of people (who weren't particularly great) trying to exploit kick off goals. If I go a goal down I tend to play worse so that really doesn't help, even though I usually came back to win.

I think the 'technique', which pro's were using at the weekend tournament too, is to get the ball out to a full back, run down the line and then play a couple of passes inside, into the box and score. The AI has a horrid time defending it from kick off.

Can't wait for that to be patched, should be any day now. I think the new changes to FUT will shake up the pro scene a bit, as they can't easily avoid each other, so it'll be harder for them to get into the top 100.

My standard kick off play is out to the LB or RB, through ball down the wing to a LM or RM, which absolutely rinses the opposing full back everytime, then cut back across to either the CAM or a ST who are normally wide open and can pick their spot.
 
Is there a way to exploit the KO glitch? Its partial luck but not even close to being a guaranteed goal..like the near post corner.

You can definitely exploit it above the level of it just being easier to score from kick off, running straight through the middle isn’t as effective as the methods mentioned above for example.
