FIFA 18

I don't like the new patch at all to be honest probably in my head but it feels slower, indicator above opposing defenders heads is a dumb idea and Scoring still seems far too easy. Mini map update was a much needed update mind.
 
i sold morata, he went for 59k . TBH he's alright but nothing special in any way. when the game moves on a bit i expect his card to be around 3k to buy. I got diego costa instead. Pace isn't much difference but playing as the Striker in 433(4) he holds the ball up well and is scoring a few. I didn't bother qualifying for the weekend league just doesn't interest me to much. i waste too many weekends last fifa playing it. Rewards from squad battles are good for the amount of games you play.
 
Bought Fabregas last night and wondered why no one else was bidding for hm until i realised someone had converted him to a striker. Had to buy two position cards to get him back to CM.. why would anyone use him as a striker :s

I know Dan from Futwiz used to love him as False 9, but as Striker....yuck
 
anyone know what happens with OTW if the player gets an IF in a diff position? Does the OTW card change position? or does it not get the upgrade?
balde diao is a lm but im hoping he gets a st card as that was really good last year

The position on the OTW card stays the same.

Also I like the indicator - gives you idea who they controlling so can plan against it.... both teams see it so its equal to both teams...

From what I could tell it actually reflects the colour of the teams shirts.

New update seems to have introduced new troll linesman mode where you get a goal disallowed for offside despite being clearly onside. The AI by the back post even had the cheek to put his arm up!!

 
The guy who took the corner is offside no? EA clearly don't know the whole not interfering with play rule.

And yes that mini map colour thing was mega annoying, the amount of times my keeper through the ball to the opposition as I thought it was my team!
 
Yes mini map was white for home player black for away and very annoying due to not matching the kits. Now they match the kits at last.
 
I tend to just use a crap team to get through seasons, not playing WL yet.

Bakayoko - Gueue
Masuaku - Otamendi - Mangala - Clyne
Butland

Not sure I really like 4231 narrow. Trying to work out if wingers are as effective as they were in 17. I packed all the above players too, Musa is still as good as 17. I'm waiting for prices to come down.
 
I've found 433-4 to still be good, couldn't get along with 4-1-1-2(2) this year so far, but liking the LM/RM version, running this:

I'm going to invest in some OTW players rather than sit on coins I think. Morata and Salah will definately get in the TOTW before Xmas I'd say.
