Lordy just come against a team with Ronaldhino, Henry and co. All top version of their cards, ruined it by playing the defensive 4231 (2) Henry on the left of midfield :confused:

30k coins really not sure if I should risk 15k on draft or keep playing sqaud battles and save till I reach 100k and sort team out how I want as I'd like ozil and countinho in it

I have a potent front two at the moment... Shane Long and Sam Vokes. Not even joking, Vokes has scored about 12 goals in 8 games.

Strange advice from me as my best pulls from draft have been from going out in the 1st and 2nd round but I'd wait until you feel you can win at least win 3 games in it before spending coins, unless you don't really care and just want to hopefully try out some top players.

Treble cross seems useless this year, dammit.

Crossing in general is for the most part useless unless it's the CPU doing it in squad battles :rolleyes:

Seen a few comments that players like Crespo head home a lot though but obviously out of reach for most.

I used that all the time, more often than not it resulted in a goal.

I haven't played loads yet, does it still work or? The few times I've tried it, it didn't seem to work.

The players attempt to do it but they possess as much power as a 2 year old kicking the ball so pretty useless.

Crossing is ok just takes a bit of getting used to.
A few surprises so far this year have been Rooney being really effective, Darmian being a good left back and Rojo is solid at center back.
I used loan Ozil and he scored some great goals.

There's a winger called verdi in calcio who is really quick and scores some decent goals.

Hold r1/rb and push cross. Hits it hard across the ground and seems to work well for me.

Crossing is one of the few things I can actually do well this incarnation of FIFA. Play a lot down the wings, it takes a lot of practice but getting pretty consistent.

41212(2), 4231 and 433 (4) are the common ones. I play 41212(2), Quin plays 4321. I can't make 433 (4) work for me.

I played a guy with a full spurs side and Erikson played an outrageous driven through ball to Son who finished first time from the right angle of the pen box I was furious

I think 41212(2) and 4321 or the best so far. I need to venture out a little more. Lack of cheapish la Liga strikers made me run 3 up top.
