FIFA 18

Not sure, but they have brought back "auto defending" which is a terrible idea. Hopefully this latest patch fixes all the crap the first one put in.
 
It's definitely a slower pace than previous FIFA's, which is a good thing. You can abuse pace but you have to set it up more - you can't just steamroll past people, or perhaps you can with better players.

What's the closest thing to the triple tap driven cross now? Whatever I've tried (R1+cross or double tap cross), it's just so weak compared to FIFA 17. That's possibly intentional though...
 
I'm enjoying 86 Rijkaard right now. Think I'll keep him until his prime version is out and grab that if possible.

700k in the bank but no one takes my fancy. Might try baby Overmars out of pure boredom. Anyone tried him? Looks a lot like Carrasco, tbf.

Really regretting buying this digitally on the PS4. Slow speed just doesn't work at all, every match feels like it's on Fast speed. 17 was fine, Switch feels fine on Slow. This is 100mph football constantly and is horrible to play.

Make sure and try and work towards the starter objectives and the entry level squad building challenges also as they're designed to help you build up a workable squad for little cost. I wouldn't go out and buy any more bronze/silver players though as you'll be able to pick up gold players for 300/350 coins at each position anyway and there's a marked difference in quality when you're playing with them.

Thanks :) Pretty much got gold players in all positions now and it's definitely a lot better!
 
I currently have 3 teams with a mix of decent players, need to sell two of them and make one really good team. Nothing like the one above though, bet that cost quite a bit!
 
I've done something odd to my fifa. I was playing a game in career mode when I paused the game. I dont know what I did, but when I resumed, it was playing itself and there were red lines following the ball around. I couldn't get it back. Anyone know what I've done?
 
If anyone has 250k I cannot recommend POTM Mane more highly.

His speed and strength are almost unplayable feels like a TOTY card.

Someone has bought and price fixed all the Ederson cards so you can't buy a decent Brazilian premier league keeper.

Surely a simple fix to all this would be AS doesn't let you buy more than 2 of any player at the same time. One in your squad and one you can transfer list?
