FIFA 18

Is there any recommendation on a good formation this year? I'm fluttering between 442 and 4411 but I've started to fall out of love with it.
 
I've just lost 2-1 to a PTB tard that had 0 shots on goal and 13% possession. I was 1-0 up in the 90th minute.

Edit: And another defeat, this time 5-3 and 4 of those goals were near post headers using the latest exploit.

Got celtics dembele up top see how that goes . Got one of the new cards , went for forsberg as he’s not bad in real life . Keeping an eye on origi price as he’ll be good should I go bundesligue at any point . Would love some of the icon cards but don’t fancy putting money into the game

Played against him yesterday and he scored a beauty against me , was good in the air as expected and quite hard to get off the ball but with his pace my opponent was always looking for his strike partner should he have any room to run into
 
Using this for now:

I wanted to try 88 Shev as his stats look good and he's quite similar to Crespo really. Sadly though none of the front 3 are amazingly fast and that's where I have the most success, one-two passes and running in behind. I'm not particularly great at making the most of strength as spamming L2 all the time is boring.

So with that said, I might look at adjusting the team a bit this evening, 7 chem Neymar with Mbappe is a tried and tested striker combo for me (IF Jesus is another option). Neymar doesn't seem to suffer on 7 chem and his finishing is excellent and he's ridiculously fast and agile, 5* skills and WF too.

That will allow me to strengthen the rest of the team, although all of the players are doing a good job defensively so I don't have many issues there.

Crespo's main benefit for me is near post headers, but a few players can do that job. He's very good though, fairly fast, strong and a brilliant finisher.
 
Why do the sweatiest players always have laggy connections? Every single one of them plays PTB and hits the ball back to front with single pass and it's every single time they win the ball back.
 
I gave Crespo and Shev a fair shot, but they just don't have the speed for me. Pretty much any CB can catch them and shove them off the ball. Shame. :(

Bergkamp is meant to be awesome at CAM I'm assuming you've used him though. ADP is another obvious choice.

I had loan Sheba and he's good but not good enough for the money .

Bought and sold martial twice today. Utterly outclassed by Sane imo!

Who do you guys have as a keeper? I've been through Cech, bought lloris and sold them both. Now im onto courtois as he's got the height advantage.

Team now as follows. Werner better than Lewamdowsko for me, scores headers, volleys, one on ones etc.

Bought OTW Yaromalenko twice and sold him. Too slow. Guess I'm just a pace abuser.

Had Bergkamp but you mama her to nullify him! I think I’m going to keep Gullit there and opt for Dele at Cm initially and get baby blanc or Pogba if he doesn’t cut the mustard.

Tried Messi while great he seemed to miss or hit the post way too often.
 
I'm never lucky with packs. I got Lukaku lately and that's about it.

For goalkeepers in the PL it's basically:

1. IF De Gea
2. De Gea
3. Courtois
4. Everyone else

Cech can be decent and Ederson is actually good but a bit short. Lloris didn't seem that great considering his price. Begovic is always annoying to play against and dirt cheap.

I think for my new team I'm going with Neymar, Mbappe and IF Jesus as a front 3 in a 4-1-2-1-2(2). Just need to balance out of the rest of the team now.
