Also using IF Ake, playing him next to Bailly, his hair makes him look equally as tall and his interceptions are class. Really enjoying him.

Otherwise i'd of said sell him and ronaldo to buy IF ST Ronaldo and also Pele.

Otherwise. 41212(2) would be your best formation with Ronaldo on 7 them at ST.
Or again. Sell him and buy Pele 91 @ 2.7m.

Then you have roughly 400/500k for a ST along side Henry. Maybe 87 Mertens or 88 if you can stretch that far.

Trade heavily, invest in many players and sell for profit. I'm upto a million now.

Or they dump about a grand into the game.

Alternatovely maybe they packed an early Messi or something.
 
I do love SIF Lozano.

Getting awful rewards last night triggered me so I went and did Deco to then do Hernandez; played a couple of games but isn't really scoring, instead piling it on with the assists. Going to put him in my 4-1-2-1-2 narrow alongside Dybala tonight, see how he fares.

Praying for Calcio A SBC tonight, have almost all of the pieces in place to do it
 
I can’t defend, it’s hopeless. If people pass it around on the edge of the box my defenders can’t tackle them and everyone makes an effort to give players space to run into. God knows how I get 25~ WL wins :o It’s much worse when people go attacking because I’m in the lead, my team seem to collapse...

I’m tempted to chop in Prime Rio (which will be a bit of a waste of coins) and Rui Costa and get Vieira. Rio doesn’t seem to perform any better than Bailly/Chiellini/Boateng on the whole, yes he’s better but not game changing. If I can make my midfield harder to bypass I think that’ll help in defence.

With CR7 up front I can happily manage with cheaper attackers, and Fahrmann in goal is fine. I’m probably going to get CR7 on full chem and start changing formations too, 90% of my opponents do, so I have to wait for them anyway.
 
I find that when the oppo uses wing my lb/rb does not follow and lets him get by and get a lead on him before I change to him and its too late....

When I use wing the oppo lb/rb tracks my players run and I cannot pass to them as they are covered...

Maybe its my custom tactics?
 
I’ve been fiddling with my custom tactics and I’m not sure it makes a huge difference. The fullbacks are often out of position for me, but if you take them off Stay Back While Attacking, it leaves a ridiculous amount of space.

I might try a new formation as well, using 41212 Narrow at the moment.
 
I have occasional games where I feel like I can defend but similarly feel pretty vulnerable as soon as people start ping ponging it around. I've sold up most of my expensive NIF players and replaced them with cheaper ones. Bizarrely Sule had a run of games where he was intercepting and tackling like a mad man (much better than Boateng ever was for me) but is now back to being useless.

Thinking I'll buy CR7 on Sunday/Monday after people sell their WL teams. Will be Ronaldo/TOTGS Ben Yedder/IF Alessandrini up front with Costa/Bakayoko/NIF Tolisso in midfield. I found IF Tolisso underwhelming so sold him (his NIF has been great for me) but tempted to try Kante. I have Kimmich set to get forward on the right so need my RCM to defend. My LB stays back to cover for Costa, in theory.
 
Holy ****! I bought all of the players from both leagues last Tuesday for absolute peanuts :D

I'm going to have so many spare players to trade with as well :D

Edit: Damn it. Did the Rui Costa SBC a few days ago and used some of my Juventus players. Rest is now done :cool:

Played two WL games before the kids get in, normally its so easy at the start, had two of the hardest opponents possible and grinded out wins, I'm done :p
 
Yup, card looks pretty average for an 89 rated player. Is there any reason for EA choosing Hamsik for the league SBC? Seems a bit of a strange choice.
