To be honest, I don't experience the lag that others do but then I don't play sociable hours. Annoyingly, of all the FUTs I have probably spent as much on this one than any others before and I am not playing it as I'm enjoying COD that much. I'll still play it consistently throughout the year.
 
I know it's obvious to anyone and everyone but Ronaldo is ******* insane. Didn't have the best weekend as I got triggered by a DC and went on a poor run. I was planning on selling him so I can complete Vieira and have some change left for TOTY, but of course he scores 4 goals in his last game. Scored the most ridiculous lobbed header on the edge of the box.
 
God this game hates me, Elite 2 finish in squad battles, 2 mega packs plus my gold Ronaldo edition pack, 3 boards best pull was some obscure defender with 54 pace.

Struggling to beat the auto buyers for cards to trade, that’s when the market isn’t showing cards that sold 5 minutes earlier over and over.
 
Coupled with sluggish game play and the majority of opponents playing PTB, my WL was more of a chore than normal. Got to G3 with 8 left and abandoned it. They really need to sort their servers out in peak times, I am simply not good enough to play with button delay.

I can't see me ever selling him, his finishing is just ridic. What if EA downgrade him?!

Castro moaned all year about it last FIFA to be fair.

More youtubers are branching out purely as there are so many damn FIFA youtubers.

I don't really think this game play is any worse than others though, there isn't anything other than kick off goals that is fundamentally wrong, it's just its the same as the past 4/5 FUTS that people have become bored.
 
Does anyone else sort of enjoy getting beaten by players that actually have interesting, unique playstyles? Got destroyed by a guy last night that kept possession at all costs, was hard to keep concentration up for the full game and he took the couple of chances I gave up. I also played another guy who used the wings really well and could actually cross. Makes a nice change from the standard teams.

I've started going 3-4-2-1 against 4-1-2-1-2 teams as the extra CB is much more useful than full backs against ping ponging.

Isnt just sluggish gameplay - its the opposite end where its super fast and the ball is pinged around so quickly - and can end up in the back of the net in a blink of the eye - the players feel like they are on skates and are so hard to have close control...

What I wonder is do these people always play at this speed (due to there connection or whatever?) as they seem to be able to play fine with it.... If its so fast or so sluggish I know I am going to lose, unless I get a lucky break...

There's too much wrong with the online game for me to begin to enjoy it. I don't mind getting hammered if the connections good and the players good but that's such a rare occurrence, especially at the level I'm at, it makes me feel it's not worth the hassle.

Still, I keep playing it because it's football :(
