Well my German sweat strike force has won me division 5 with 19 points...whereas last time with martial, mbappe, Dembele I got relegated...
I tried that Werner card with Abu upfront and couldn't get on with them, currently use Gomez and mertens which strangely feel quicker but massively weaker.

Hmm strange I used to run nif Werner and auba and they were a great pair although 82 Werner used to poach more goals.
Gomez is one of the fastest players imo his stats lie about his pace. He was my Super sub for a long time. Can literally run in a circle around a defender to steal.the ball off them.before the defender can react lol.
But with the strength and height of Muller just behind them it just clicks. Just not sure if i want to pay an extra 100k for mullers IF as it's quite a small upgrade...
Edit also if anyone is looking for a super sub...SIF Lozano of course ..
But also cheaper SIF Goncalo Guedes, awesome finisher with both feet, better in front of goal than Lozano imo

It's a bit random, but Bakayoko is really good at CDM, and Rudiger is decent and means I can use a German GK. Will probably swap Semedo for SIF Vrsaljko too, but he's not bad considering he costs nothing.
Tactics are basically get the ball to the front 3 and cause chaos.

Herrera is solid and Bakayoko plays like a mini Vieira, so it's not too bad. I have Nainggolan (untradeable) on the bench who I sometimes sub on for Koke. I'm half tempted to switch to a formation that can use him as he's the best midfielder I've used (outside of Icons). CR7 needing links is always the problem, and he's untradeable and amazing so he's going nowhere. Casemiro and Carvajal are an easy way of getting him in though and they aren't bad.
Yeah I'd rather have prime Matthaus or someone in midfield than trying to skimp there to afford the big two up front. That being said this game pretty much comes down to scoring as many goals as you can with defending being very difficult even for the pros so...

Can't help but think the team would be better with CAM 91 Dinho, Grieznan up front.
Prime rui at right cm, Ricardo Pereira IF at rb.
SIF Benatia lcb, milinko-savic CDM, Dalbert at LB or Alex Sandro, IF matuidi or IF Allan or naingaollan at LCM
I've played with midfields of Icons/Pogba/etc and people can easily bypass it, scoring goals is the key to winning as defending is close to impossible at times.
I can get in a Vidal/Nainggolan/whoever midfield if I get rid of Griezmann and Neuer so I may do that if I have problems.
I got a higher goal return with Werner than Abu but they seemed to play deep and not stay upfront, not sure if it's the custom tactics or the other teams choice to always use park the bus but they always seemed to get stuck.
Gomez is excellent 4*4* and plays like 99 pace for the coins he is an excellent striker, the only issue is strength but as super sub he is brilliant.
Might give them another try and use a bund squad for a bit

Forget nnaingollan matuidi is better. Just try him with shadow. Height is not an issue.
Also h/m work rates isn't an issue and bakayoko is m/m anyway.
Matuidi is good but Nainggolan is better at everything, they are quite similar. Height can be an issue.
H/M work rates on a CDM means he'll often be further up the pitch. M/M means Bakayoko is more likely to stay in position. M/H is best for CDM. It's not as huge an issue as some people make out but it can cause problems.
Edit:
If I switched to a 4312 I can get Vidal, Boateng and Nainggolan all in quite easily. So if the midfield is a problem I may do that.
