FIFA 18

Basically started squad battles finish Elite 2, tried WL for a few weeks managed 11 wins, I just cant complete all the games required so I am going to stick to SB.

My current team:

I am thinking of trying either 5221, with selling Kante and TOTGS Firmino and picking up 87 rated Firmino and SIF Ake to make:

Or go back to my original formation for SB of 352 which I have enjoyed the most but having to buy Aguero, SIF Ake and 87 Firmino.

Just about to buy my first Icon have a choice between

86 Kluivert
88 Owen
85 Hernandez
87 Hernandez

Have 600k ready for one. What do you guys reckon? Anybody else to look at.

Indeed the entire game is a disgrace on all different levels. Just about enough in it for me to have enjoyment out of it. I guess you could argue Fifa and its players replicate top level football well :D

I bought the 87 Hernandez and played two game and the has scored in both games.

Never really bothered about Icons but I'm playing teams with more and more and they are deffo game changers.

I may sell him on, is there a better none icon for 600k?

Bonus is I have SIF Lozano so can start him rather than using him as a sub. He is deadly BTW what a card
 
It depends really, in my view there are players on the game you never want to play against (if the player is good with them).

A non expensive example is Bale. If the player knows how to use him, he's a nightmare to play against. CR7 even more so.

Most of the Icons are hit and miss aside from the expensive ones - they cost what they do for a reason, they are the best players on the game and make an obvious difference.

Ive used 87 Hernandez and SIF Lozano on 7 chem for around a month now, both have absurd records in the weekend league :)
 
Have they sped the prime icon releases up or are the weeks just going by quicker :eek:

Prime Blanc seems rather pointless and even Kluivert you're banking on the +4 shooting being noticeable in-game when chem styles are applied.
 
My record with 90 Hernandez is 415 games, 318 goals with a fair number of assists that I can't see on the WebApp. Been brilliant for me, but if you offered him or Larsson now based on the cost I'd do the former, even with only 3* SM; f0r 400k it's practically the same card.
 
90 Hernandez has been one of the cards I've struggled against the most in the WL (Andy also caused me all sorts of problems with him) but having done the Larsson SBC, based on the fact his stats looked so good for the price, I've not been impressed.

He's noticeably slower than IF Jesus with and without the ball and he seems to get knocked off the ball way too easily. His finishing in and around the box is awesome but as the sole striker in a 4-2-3-1 he's lacking.
 
I really don't understand how some of you are getting 2 or 3 goals a game on average for individual players?

I checked mine and if I add them together its averages 2.4 goals a game for all players (not completely accurate)

My best is Ronaldo on .75 goals a game - he doesn't score always but others do.....

I finish around Gold 2 most WL and hover between div2 and div1....
