Yeah, you can do co-op in Rivals, I believe there's a setting you can change to stop you matching against co-op players. Unless they're on the same console, but they've been able to do that in Fifa 20 and Fifa 19 too (and possibly before) as I've come up against them.

Ah right, never seen it before. Thought it was a glitch so quit. :)
 
Impulse bought PIM Rush last night, one was available when I randomly searched the market from his concept card.

He’s been great fun so far but I know he’ll drop, hoping EA update his price range so I can profit and buy him or someone else back at a later date.

I really wanted to try Torres but his price is nutty atm.

PIM Rush was amazing last year. He just finishes everything.
 
I don't usually suffer from it but the input lag is terrible today. My connection is fine, I'm getting yellow/red bars constantly every game. Unplayable but I've got to 14 wins so might try for 16 later.
 
I just wish AI blocks would get nerfed when trying finesse shots from the edge of the box, despite having a good amount of space a centrehalf just finds a way to get something on it
 
18-6, got swaps done, I think I'll stop there.

Strange day in regards to gameplay, was really heavy offpeak and ended up taking a break. Just jumped on at peak and every game has felt like fire.
 
You just have to laugh sometimes. 1-0 up, he does a through ball, VVD attempts a legit attempt for the ball, pressing standing tackle, misstimes, brings him down and red card... Yet you can hack someone down from behind, clean through and get a yellow card. It really is such a baffling game, the QC is just none existent.
 
17-11, meh. Never been so riled by a WL since 21 came out, lost some truly woeful games. Managed to get 86 Llorente from the 16 win red pick who is actually usable as a CM and nice link to Felix so happy. Won't mention the 10 win player pick..
 
17-2 and just about hanging on to some very tight games beat 2 elite 1 players which is nice but it's tough out there.

Both losses come from a 2-0 lead.

I think Twosync Chris went 17-5, Matt went 17-10. I'm just guessing as I didn't watch them all, but I'd guess Mattr didn't put a foot wrong all weekend, was the better player in every loss and could play those lost games again and win them all. It's just scripting that's punishing him for having a good team.

I don't do it so no idea, let's be fair there's nobody to substitute in that team anyway. Must be a 40M team, that CR7 is so broken.

Edit: game after TOTY CR7 Cruyff etc again and he was another verified player. Pretty much sums my weekend league up for the whole of this year. Had Elite every year since 17 and it won't happen on this game it's brutal.
Back to an average 17-4 now.

I admire your dedication, I honestly do. The gameplay is dull & stale and needs a serious overhaul. Its shame as the promos, player details etc in general is relly good.
 
Elite 3 is excellent considering how inconsistent each match can be this year. Tackling a player 5 times to get the ball back etc, well done @Quinnaay

Even some of the pro's are struggling, watched Gorilla play another pro yesterday and he checked his record after and he'd already had 5 losses, he'd finished elite 1 the previous week.

Not that I'll ever get anything but if it's a dud I'll save it. Don't think I'll try for elite again now rewards are usually far worse.

The 3 extra player picks was Banega X2 and stones :D

Matchmaking this year is the hardest it's ever been. 7 verified players in total i beat 4 of them. I'm pretty sure on previous Fifas I'd play 2 tops out of 30.
