Yup. I’ve been playing online football games for 20 years now, it’s a shame the direction they’ve gone is ultimately backwards. Maybe the WL is to blame where the fun factor was removed in favour of winning at any cost? I can’t see 22 changing.

Also been playing over 20 years, the thing is it's not just FIFA every game now is extremely competitive and everyone and anyone will now hit up YouTube and Twitter to find the advantage and meta. It's here to stay unfortunately.

There is defo a skill gap, other wise I'd win more

A thought just occurred to me, if there's no skill gap (which I'm hearing a number of people say this year) does that mean that pay2win isn't a thing either?

It's not as pay2win as previous FIFAs in my opinion, it helps most certainly but I still get bodied by meta gold teams more so than any other year. The difference with elite level cards is agility/pace, movement and stamina in late game.

@RedStarRiot there really isn't once you hit a certain level. Anyone in division 1 can beat each other ranging from 1900SR to 2400. In previous FIFA getting into Div 1 was extremely tough and rarely would you beat someone who was verified or much higher SR.

For me Fifa 19 was the peak of PTW (and unsurprisingly, the year I was the best at the game)

20 and 21 have become so defensive you need true ability to break down good players and the patience of a saint to tolerate spending 10 minutes without the ball the second you give it away.

Scored an absolute peach in ET, lofted through ball over his 5atb from an angle and first time volley into the top corner.

Cue me leaping around the living room. I then scored another 2 against him once he changed formation.

After losing my first two I decided to see what it’s like being a 5 back rat. 5212 and lost only twice more on the way to 14 where I’ve stopped.

I just couldn't see myself enjoying play the game

I didn't play it the standard way, still had 7 depth and wasn't on drop back. I found it quite attacking and scored plenty of goals whilst conceding less. Was also running FS Dias at CB as I got him from the poobag SBC and I had to sell VVD to fully fund the squad for the weekend.

I was using this squad with Ballack as one of my CBs as well The sensible choice would have been RJ at CB with Kulu RWB but I couldn't go that sweaty. Never got on with CBs with H/M work rates either so that was another reason.

makes you realise how good Anders is to go 535-0 or whatever it was. Anders went 29-1 one weekend and stopped streaming for about 2 weeks (I guess he was upset at only getting 29-1 and ending his run)

They need another mode for Monday and Tuesday. Not gaining Rivals points so no interest. I don't like draft as I'd rather use my team.

Maybe a knock out competition would be good where you play folk at the same stage.

I know that feeling. I've played to 14 wins ever since The game isn't rewarding enough in terms of gameplay and actual rewards. Hope your elite pack is better than mine.

England team could actually be damn good given some of the players available. Hopefully you managed to bag Rooney, Jones, Tavernier SBC's, all superb. (Brewster was also cheapish and is actually pretty good)

Actually, 6 of my starting 11 are English.
