Bought this in the sale, when does the PS5 update happen?

It's just a weekend game for me now so not getting bored yet, despite only having two teams since the game was released. COD/Rocket League/Other games during the week, FIFA at the weekend.
None from reds but picked up a tradable martial so will take 70k.
I finally had 11 fut champs cards to put into the upgrade and got rashford. Slots right in and means i can sell my my nif.
Great timing as I'll have time to try hard this WL

I used to make elite in SB but I don't play any SB unless it's for a challenge. I would also play some rivals before the wl to maximise my points but I can't be bothered with that either. I'm sat on 700k and have some decent sbc fodder but there are no stand out players who decent sbcs that I'm interested in.
I'll admit I dropped down to Division 4 this week, Rank 1 Div 1 is just not worth the effort. Rank 1 Div 4 rewards are better than Rank 2 Div 1, objectives games are easier, and in 7 Rivals games I've already secured Div 4 Rank 1.
Got a couple of ok reds - Digne and Carrasco, obviously neither gets near the team but with icon swaps coming soon both are useable.

Well I did it. Purely from a personal achievement, it’s good. I know I’ll be straight back down but 50k is nice.
I’m not far from Neymar now. Hopefully with next weeks rewards it’ll be a Mbappe/Neymar combo.

You mean when they nick the ball off you in attack and their CB plays a defence splitting pass that even Iniesta would dream of? I may have run into it once or twice.
Know what you mean about the meltdown, I was getting irrationally annoyed trying to do the Joshua King objectives so decided a drop to D4 and taking WL a bit easier was in order.
Yep, exactly that. Even better when you hit the woodwork or miss a sitter it bounces to his defender and plays a wonder ball that is like a laser to his attacker through on goal. Makes me so frustrated it's getting less and less like football as time goes on.
Gone back to 4222 Mbappe and Dalglish up top. Hopefully it plays well. I'd been using 433(2) all week with success until yesterday. Will experiment 352 this week coming.
It's a crazy game though I think I have it sussed feel unstoppable then the day after it's like I've never played FIFA before.
Some weird **** going on. First game, 2-0, cruising, he's not good at all. I concede in the 45+1 minute and can't get a touch second half. Lose 4-3.
Second game easy win.
3rd game, 4-0 up after 25 mins, he's not quitting, I concede int he 45th min, 4-1. He then scores again to make it 4-2, his whole play though, he's cocky as anything, like proper going for it, I cannot get near him, he misses an absolute sitter to make it 4-3. I'm then really nervy and just play uber cautiously, it worked in the end as I won 6-2 but some serious weird momentum stuff going on. Or just people not being arsed until the second half...

So, next weekend is next-gen weekend right?
With next-gen you will only play next-gen players right?
So will next-gen be easier or harder? With stock availability I guess the playerbase will be quite small on the new consoles and I'd imagine all the pros and streamers will have either been given a console or done everything they can to get one so they can produce next-gen content asap. Does that mean next-gen will be harder or don't you think the reduced playerbase will make any difference to how good the average player is?

Its well dodgy, I dont get why I can be so dominant the first half then it completely goes to **** second half.
