Best thing you can do in the WL is not target a rank, if you start projecting where you'll finish you'll get frustrated when things go against you and your game will suffer for it.

Take each game as it comes, if things go against you try and shrug it off.

Also if you plan on doing the full 30 then split your games up 10 a day chunks if its feasible.

Indeed. 1100 skill rating will be tough in WL after a few games most likely.

Doesn't seem like it, daft really, they've been criticised over it before.

In Fifa 20 I was around that rating, I used to flip-flop between Div 6 and Div 5.
In WL I used to get Gold 3 or Gold 2. Didn't get worse than Gold 3 all year.
As it's your first time I think you should be able to get Silver 1 or Gold 3. Silver 1 was the least I wanted so you automatically get enough points to qualify for the next WL, but Gold 3 was the aim so I got 2 red player picks. Every time I got Gold 2 it was just a bonus.

I think it's good advice to split the games out fairly evenly (depending on your available play time each day). Try not to rush them, especially if you're losing. I always tried to give myself a break after a loss.

Also be aware that in WL games go to extra time and penalties.
 
Lot of reasonable icons out now, and good POTM SBC, all we need now is a couple of big TOTY SBC's to keep fodder high.

No content drop at all tonight, was a bit of a surprise.
 
Almost tempted by that prime Carlos. I have accumulated a lot of high rated fodder lately so I'd probably save 400k or so.
 
Cheers for all the advice guys.

I've won 2 and lost 1 so far. Everybody seems to have much better teams for sure! Yeah I'll try to split it throughout the weekend. I know I'm fairly meh at the game, I seem to have hit a bit of a ceiling. I'm trying to learn a few skill moves to help create some space.
