Jesus you take a couple of months off of online play and the game changes drastically !

Was 3-3 (with my insane team) - pulled it back to 11-4 but players really seem to have grasped the meta.

Most people I play are using 352, seems to be the go to formation now. I've adopted it too, but until the rest of TOTY drops the team isn't really set up for it.

For me, TOTY Ronaldo is light years ahead of TOTY Mbappe. Mbappe isn't that much of a noticeable upgrade to his base, aside from the strength.
 
Everyone is back to using defensive set up 4231 again. I'm 13-5 I think probably worst I've done all year and I'm seriously struggling with it.
 
14-8 stopping there I can't play it like this it's just insanely slow and for some reason every shot I take is being duffed or saved. Lost multiple games having 60+% possession and 5+ more shots on target. Struggle is real :(

Gameplay has been utter garbage. Said it previously but everyone is back to the low depth pack the box shenanigans.

I'm adamant they've nerfed some meta cards to make room for these toty and special versions my Varane had turned terrible.

14-7, think I'll call it there.

Some thoughts:

  • CR7 > Mbappe
  • It doesnt matter who you have up top, Pope will still make endless wonder saves
  • I'm an awful defender
  • 4231 doesn't work for me anymore
  • RTTF Kessie was a disappointment

I'm sure your talking TOTY but I'd also agree on gold CR7 being better than Gold Mbappe also.

Pope is also a god against me which sends me insane.

AI blocks are worse than ever due to this new drop back meta.
 
Tried out gold bruno as needed links. Impressed enough to tempt me to do the potm. Should cost around 600k with the fodder i have.
Status look like it'll be good enough for the next 2-3 months

Yeah he's very good I used an inform version on my mates account playing co op. I'll be doing him I think and maybe bring gold CR7 back.
 
It's max chemistry, you don't need to sub on. Start anyone anywhere, I'm playing maradona loan at left back. Also go constant pressure and team press as you don't lose any stamina.

Have to agree this weekend was a total **** show. I grinded to 17 wins. Some of the bs that went against me was unbelievable.

Going to do the dybala card to link to messi and Ronaldo. I'm playing 4-4-2 atm.
 
Anders went 30-0 again this week. Won his last game 13-1...
There's probably a guy/girl somewhere that was +15 form, maybe even going for 30-0 themselves this weekend, feeling really good about it, then get smashed 13-1.

It's probably at that point you realise just how many levels there are to being good at Fifa!
