The Renato card is a massive difference on his gold. Of course you’ll still have those games where even a PIM Pele will feel like he’s stuck in mud.
Sort of related to this, but not aimed at you, it just made me think of it...Silver 3 for me this weekplayed 6 and won 6 but just couldn't be bothered to carry on.
Every year every week I hit gold 1 and occasionally elite 3. Now I cba and the past month played to gold 3 Silver 1 without even trying or stressing. I'm a gold 1 player predominantly and usually achieve it without too much stress but it's just so unrewarding and to be honest I've hardly played FIFA the past couple of months I'm not enjoying the way this is turning out.Sort of related to this, but not aimed at you, it just made me think of it...
When people play to 14 wins and stop, can they claim to be Gold 2/Gold 1/Elite whatever players?
I mean, obviously if they're getting 14-1 or something like that then claiming Gold 2 seems quite reasonable. Gold 1 doesn't seem too far fetched either, but I think if you're gonna claim to be an Elite 3/2/1 player you need to be finishing Elite 3/2/1 on occasion.
It's like if you get Gold 1 in October and then just finish on 14 wins, even if it's like 14-5, I think you need to hit Gold 1 maybe once a month if you're gonna keep claiming to be Gold 1. The game can change quite a lot with the patch and promos. Maybe you had a strong team in the first few months which helped you, but since then all the promos have helped a lot more people raise the quality of their teams.
Claiming Gold 2 when you stop on 14-5 seems acceptable.
What made me think about it is that Matt from TwoSync (yes, them again) almost always stops at 11 wins or 14 wins because he just can bear to play the game any more. Yet he claims to be a Gold 2 player. This week he stopped on 11-8.
I think Chris has hit Gold 1 more often than Matt has hit Gold 2, but Chris still claims to be a Gold 2 player that can hit Gold 1 with a bit of luck.
I don't play Fifa 21, but in Fifa 20 I probably had a fairly even split between Gold 2 and Gold 3 finishes, so if pushed I'd probably say I was Gold 3, but with a bit more leeway I'd say I was a borderline gold 2 player.
What do you guys think, what rank can you claim, what result do you need to average to claim that?
