OK, now what is quite funny is seeing TwoSync, complaining about the European Super League because it's all about money...

A stream that is probably the lowest effort, all style no substance stream on Twitch that is all about the money grab is complaining about football teams being all about the money grab.
They stream for like 2 or 3 hours a day. They keep their chat in sub only mode so you have to pay a subscription just to chat. As Andy found out, you have to pay a subscription just to be able to view the VODs (I guess because the want you to watch it on their Youtube channel, which I believe has about as much ads as it does content). A channel who had the catchphrase "What a brew" because at least one of them is a big tea drinker, are now sponsored by Sneak (an energy drink like GFuel). So they now only drink Sneak on stream (they still sell merchandise with "What a brew" on it though). That seems like selling out to me! Also, they have a code you can enter if you buy Sneak. Does it give you a discount? No, it just supports them.

And these lads complain about the European Super League teams just doing it for the money...
 
They are not the only ones though and it's understandable with Fifa being their main income stream. As unlikeable as they are it's quite amazing that they have found success with Fifa whilst also not being good players. Perhaps the unpredictable nature of it keeps it interesting.

I'd imagine EA sports and Fifa streamers are sweating right now!
 
I think their biggest selling point (not that I watch them regularly) is that they are still quite relatable. They aren't sitting there car shopping on stream like another famous FIFA streamer. The rage is genuine even though Mat takes it too far at times and can never accept the fact that people play the game more effectively than he does. They used to produce some decent videos years ago on YouTube which built a solid foundation.

You have streamers on there who've done far worse, making even more money out of nontent than they do.
 
Yeah, they have quite a good dynamic with the 2 of them switching and occasionally mocking each other. Let's face it, if fifa could be our job most of us would jump at the chance. They are kn** heads though so I could never follow or sub to their channel.
 
Yeah, the dynamic between them is the only thing they really have. Their entire content is either thanking people for subbing or opening packs. Every weekend they play a few WL games, but they're playing less and less each week. In fairness when you spend as much on the game as they do the rewards from WL are pretty pointless. So it's just opening packs and if they can, Icon packs. They can drag them out for ages by doing it roulette style (which most streamers have done but got bored of a while ago). There was literally no content other than chatting for that week when there wasn't an Icon pack for them to drag out.

But that's just me ranting about the style over substance. My original point was that it's funny hearing them moan about the big 6 clubs only being in it for the money.
Chris has said many times that he's made enough money that he doesn't need to work any more. But then he criticises the big clubs for being rich but wanting to be richer.
 
Barely played for a week, quick few rivals games for the new week, all 3 games I am up in the second half, 3-0, 3-1 and 3-1, all three games disconnect 60-70 minutes, under review. No games registered. Is this a new glitch......probably PC scum again.

7-0 in WL. Loving Dalglish and Messi up front with Del P behind them. Normally stop at 14 wins but might go to 17 for the guarantee main squad pick.

Stopped at 14-2, I just can’t be bothered to get the final 3 wins. Out all day tomorrow so doubt I will bother trying Sunday night.
 
11-1 but the only games that I've enjoyed are the last that I allayed as they were easy wins. How can my ELO be +9/+10 and the games be easier than when I was at +1/+2?!
 
Got 17 for the pick. My team is behind the curve now big time. Koeman/boateng defence isn't cutting it. Think I'll get wan b after rewards and put him at cb.

I think it's F'd this weekend. Usually G3 and occasionally G2 but stuck on S1 this week. Raging at the game, it's been a frustrating mess along getting matched against players levels above me in quality. No chance is the match making system working right. Fuming, this might be it for FIFA this year. Even when you win the game isn't even fun.
