Midfield I just don't get it take wilshire barely played all year looks knackered, Henderson I'm biased anyway but he has been injured and patchy for the most part so leaves drink water who is just abit meh does his job doesn't really add anything don't get me wrong we need that sort of player but if the other two go missing leaves us with the midfield being pointless
 
To be expected from most of our second string midfield and attack. Only Wilshere will probably start at the Euros out of this front 6. Well, him or Drinkwater.

Pretty mediocre performance at the moment.
 
No way we're going to get anywhere with wilshere or Henderson in midfield, definitely need alli and Rooney in there. Dier/Milner are more or less like Drinkwater who probably has a better pass.
 
Alli and Rooney in a midfield against a half decent side will be great fun....both hot headed, neither remotely defensive, one cant run and isnt a bloody midfielder.
 
How henderson and lallana are even in the premier league, never mind liverpool and the england squad shocks me. Utter dross.

But both have the work rate and desire which is what you require to win. Alli can certainly defend or put in a tackle at least. Rooney doesn't get sent off like he used to :p

Not sure id have both Milner and Drinkwater playing, we really lack quality in midfield.
 
Wilshere was awful in that first half, glad he was taken off.

Subbing Rooney on to a centre forward role, and pushing Rashford to the wing?

Work rate is one thing, being able to move about the pitch is another. We have talent in midfield, enough talent that we dont have to drop bloody Rooney back there. Henderson does what he does,he isnt spectacular but he's dependable...Alli isnt but has sparks of brilliance. Each have their own qualities depending on the game.

Wilshire and Henderson makes sense to me personally but i can easily see why Dier would be brought in for Henderson as they do similar jobs.

Personally the three id leave out would be Townsend, delph and Barkley....this is providing Sturridge isnt dead again.

I'd associate work rate with being able to move about :p

I think we can be deadly on the counter with 2 of vardy, sterling or rashford starting.
