Japanese ref nuff said, what league does he ref in the mickey mouse league? Only the top European refs should be at world cups.

Was a harsh decision but the Croatian player has only himself to blame, had he not put his hand on his shoulder no penalty would be given. You can't blame the ref. we have the luxury of slo-mo replays he doesn't.

Collina should ref every game of every tournament. Only solution.
Like it or lump it, refereeing is part of the game, you've got to have the different cultures of officiating to make it a world cup (Soviet linesman for hurst's goal anyone?). Also in the name of equality and fairness you need refs from all regions
It's not like we're ecstatic over the decisions we see in the PL or CL week in - week out!
Nope because the Brazil crowd didn't appeal.

But they aren't fit to ref the biggest competition in the world. So they have no right to be there.
Ref is biased, best we just accept it
This ref would probably give Brazil a freekick for being backed into.

Big name euro refs fluff things every week, what an absurd thing to say we need in the world cup. Likewise 99% of refs wouldn't send off goldenboy in his home country at the first game. The penalty, we see these almost weekly in the prem league and champs league, an absolutely nothing contact but the stupid defender has his hand on the shoulder on the waist of a player who throws himself to the ground. the "best" refs in europe fall for this week in week out.
Should the ref have called it a dive, yes, would most, absolutely not.
