Both teams deserve that goal, USA have never got started due to the early goal. Ghana have pretty much bossed it just poor finishing letting them down.

Stupidly early goals kill so so many games. Argentina couldn't get going after an early goal either.

I was bigging up USA before the game, but they aren't that good. Hard to beat, but nothing going forward. Surprised they won the game tbh, it was pretty much all Ghana after they scored.

I wouldn't read too much in to that, most teams, even really top teams tend to sit back if they take the lead. Of course if it happens in the 30th minute they are more settled in the game, when you have a goal in the first 5 mins you often see a team almost give up attacking.

I don't think the USA is going to be brilliant going forward in other games but, world cup, have a lead, most teams stop attacking all that much.
