I've always felt sorry for him in a Portugal shirt. So much pressure on him because he's one of the best in the world but is unfortunate to play for one of the most average nations. They're more a one man side than any club team.

Seen Pepe beat people up, then act like a baby with the worlds worst play acting so I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him get a mouthful of his own medicine.

The utterly stupid thing is, leaning as far down as possible he couldn't actually "head butt" him in the proper sense, if he dragged him to his feet and broke his nose with a proper head butt, but that is literally the most pathetic head butt I've seen.
What I hate is his hypocrisy, he will dive and make a meal of contact all game long yet react like someone tried to murder his children if anyone else does the same. Fully deserved red, frankly Portugal are mad to have him in the squad, one of the least trusty worthy players in world football today.
Muller's second goal was fantastic though, the cross isn't great, Muller has absolutely no right to get the ball or block the clearance. Many players would give that up but he not only did he win the ball his reaction, the instant shot not giving the keeper time to react.
Muller is one of the most disgustingly effective players in world football, he's not the fastest player, he's not the most agile, he just is in the right place making the right choice 99% of the time. Epic player.

Don't really think Croatia or Portugal were expected to do well in these matches
But surely they're seen as good teams, certainly as good or better than England?
Btw, Muller hardly got touched, definitely play acting. That doesn't excuse Pepe for almost headbutting him and causing provocation.
