Group G: Greece, Slovakia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Lithuania, Latvia, Lichtenstein

Jesus Christ! Terrible groups.

One team from each of those groups is guaranteed to qualify. Maybe Switzerland are half decent, but other than that they are all terrible.


No problems for England


Would you rather have a guaranteed one big team in each group, or the chance that you would get some weak groups, whilst also having the odd one with 2 or3 big teams in it?

Don't like englands group, they'll qulifiy easily getting our hopes high only to draw, loose, draw in the group stages of the wc proper

Things change quickly in the world of football though, in 3 years those teams could have completely changed.

Look at Greece for example, in 2004 they win the Euro cup and 4 years later, finish bottom of their group.

A lot can change.

I find it funny the guy from Antrim town doesn't bold Republic of Ireland. They have a fair chance of 2nd but Sweden will be hard.

Well Scotland's group could have been worse but it's certainly not easy and given our history as a footballing nation we'll do something or other to make it more difficult for ourselves than it needs to be. If I had to make a prediction it would be for a valiant effort but just falling short, possibly a win against Croatia, draw against Serbia and then an unexpected tanking from Macedonia meaning we finish a couple of points behind second place or something equally as stupid.

Groups C & F you'd expect the first two teams to go through. In Group H I'm hoping that San Marino can keep it interesting.
