What were Iran at? In the first half they were defending amazingly well, but, it was just wave after wave of Spanish attacks and Spain looked really good.

When Spain scored the goal and Iran had to start attacking they looked like a really good team. They made Spain look like a very ordinary team. If they had a little more luck they would have won that game. Makes me wonder what would have happened if they had attacked Spain the whole game.

Portugal will be very nervous now, because Iran are going to be hard to beat.

was good match and iran was unlucky if they had more self believe and confidence and played more attacking football they might of
taken the game from spain. But the incident with costa and the iranian goal keeper, at first I though what muppet for play acting and though he only stepped on the edge of his foot and the SELECTIVE video replay FIFA showed us during the match concluded as much

But in this picture its evident he clearly stepped on his foot and probably deliberately, apparently he went from foot to foot. Now if this really happened then cant help get the feeling this VAR is just another tool for FIFA to favour their choice teams. This should have been called out VAR and him sent off.The video FIFA put on air clearly was carefully selected.
