In a way Portugal got what they deserved LOL - so many cheap and sneaky little un-sportsman like touches so in some ways a cheap and undeserved penalty against them was kind of karma though it felt kind of fixed.

Trying to watch both games at the end there was the most confusing 5 minutes of football.
Maybe the refs were watching the other match on their little pitch side TV's

FIFA need to watch some rugby, this is how it should work, not this ridiculous sideshow.
Lol, var gets it wrong, that's bad, ref gets it wrong that's just the character of the game.
Anyway I loved the chaos the the acting, the arguing it's brilliant.

Var (the system) can't get anything wrong. It's the refs using the VAR that are getting it wrong
But the decision tonight was beyond stupidity. Almost beyond human error, into dubious match fixing territory.

That's insane!
VAR could reach those levels in football and there's no way the players and ref would be on such good terms.

Nah. I don't think this ref was dirty. Just really rubbish.
There's been other instances though which have made me wonder. French handball for example
