One hopes so Roland, one hopes so.
Well, I’ve long thought England over rated (by our media,not the rest of the world) and was actually quite pleased that at the start of the tournament we weren’t expecting great things (finally) and would appreciate the team for what it is / was.
Now though, I see a team who play so much better than the England of old, who actually look the part and - dare I say it - look one of the stronger teams in the tournament...
At the start of this I scoffed at those who thought we’d go all the way, now, I’ll genuinely be disappointed if we don’t!
If we get through to the final I see a Knighthood for Gareth Southgate (quite a turnaround from his stature following that missed penalty) if we win it, I doubt crowning him King will be enough!
Lovely to finally have faith and good hope for my national team.

Croatia need another midfielder really, one willing to move a bit more. Modric and Rakitic are both playing so deep.
To be honest, I think he might have already passed the test because Sir Bobby Robson got to the semi final. So maybe Southgate has done enough for a Royal visit to Liz.
