FIFA World Cup 2022 Final + Play-off ** spoilers ** [17th - 18th December 2022]

Argentina playing really well. Di Maria looking good for man of the match so far. I initially saw him as a super sub like against Netherlands but starting the game was a good call.

Of the penalties Argentina have got that is probably the least controversial but it's pretty clear the refs have been soft on them all tournament. I can already count 3 favourable decisions given to them this game alone and then there was Messi deliberately handballing right in front of the ref last game etc.

That being said they are deserved leaders today, France have been **** from back to front and only one team is playing. Such a shame the final is this poor but Argentina won't care.

I'm not overly fussed who wins it, I'm totally neutral about it. I guess I ought to be against Argentina after seeing the video of them singing the anti-English Falklands song but even that doesnt sway me, so I'm an out and out neutral. All I want is to see a good entertaining close game rather than Argentina just run away with it and make it a dull second half. so heres to hoping

I'm a Liverpool fan and I don't buy into that. A lot of the time people talk about refs being biased and it's just rose tinted specs, but this tournament has been absurd for it
I cant tell if its refs being biased in the World Cup or refs just being incompetent in the World Cup, I mean some of the VAR decisions have been ludicrous but having said that, VAR decisions are ludicrous week in and out so I guess its the norm.

Did I just see one of the French players pick his nose and eat it on camera?

I can't rewind as I'm watching via aerial but I'm sure it just happened.. :p
