It deemed intentional as he made his body bigger and his arm was in an unnatural position. Not saying I agree with the rules by the way ...I don’t watch much football but how can it be a penalty from such accidental handball. I have pretty much zero interest in football, but it is rules like this that make me really just not see the interest.

That is the old rules. Now it matters if your arm is in a natural position. He raised his arm away from his body so it's a handball.
