FIFA World Cup 2022 Final + Play-off ** spoilers ** [17th - 18th December 2022]

Delighted for Messi.

They really should have won that game in 90, far better team for 85 minutes. What a final though.

Then ET was brilliant as well, again thought Messi had won it for them.

Fair play to him, bows out at the highest stage.

I still think that clip of Mbappe not getting the ball in a PSG attack and just turning around and walking back to the halfway line is the worst thing I've seen him do. That is some pure ******** mentality.

Lol at the Mbappe hate. Is he not supposed to celebrate winning and be sad when losing?

The lad played a rather large part in the greatest WC final most people have ever seen.

Hat trick and was ice cold when it mattered. Considering he didn’t get a kick off the ball until his penalty that was sick.

I’m guessing the hate is for turning down Madrid which was hilarious at the time - and still is now.

Only thing you can make a gripe about is him taking the Qatar money but every one is pretty much doing that now. No one says anything about Haaland, KdB etc taking the money or Kane desperate to go to City.

You don’t laugh at someone missing a penalty unless you’re a ****.

Dirtbag gets to a final, scores a hat trick and still loses. Absolutely delicious.

Laughing? I didn't realise people do fist pumps whilst laughing. People will make up complete rubbish here it seems. If you think celebrating a penalty miss is out of order, you must hate all the players from both sides when they celebrate misses on penalty shootouts.

Heres, the not deliberately cropped image. No where near Kane even.

I was fortunate enough to watch Messi play in Brazil at the World Cup in 2014 and it was a shame he didn't win it then so I'm glad he's finally won the big one. I've watched him live a few times and he has to be the laziest player I've ever seen, probably did less running that the goal keeper but when he was on the ball he just oozed class.

M'Bappe could learn a thing from him (and Martinez) on how to treat a loosing opponent.

You have something more recent? I think you'll be surprised. Zidane and Messi are his idols, but yes Ronaldo was his childhood idol because he supported Real Madrid.

I do but he’s replaced Ronaldo with pictures of himself I believe :p

The point still stands. He idolises Ronaldo

Thought it was common knowledge he loved Ronaldo growing up.

Mental he scored 3 goals, has 12 goals and has 3 world cups left in him. France due their usual brain fart next one though. Really fancy them to win the euros.
