I missed the actual gaffe because it's such a common turn of phrase and just heard him saying "apologies to anyone who may have been offended by that" or something along those lines thinking WTF he hasn't just called someone a **** on live TV!

And now it's become a media story, better get him cancelled quick. Although not sure you can say that anymore in case Joao Cancelo might get offended.
