Fight Night Round 4

Hope its good. IMO FN3 was the game that turned peoples heads and saw the potential of the new gen of consoles. I remember selling more 360's after they saw FN3 on the xbox demo stand in the store.

The only vid i have seen of fight night round 4 was in the ea home room which is coming out on home soon . It looks like it has some good old timer boxers in aswell .
Not sure when eitheir are out but the go kart track looks cool .

I loved FN3. I bought it q year or so after release, so the online community was pretty much dead. Which was a shame.
This looks awsome though! This is a must have for me.

Cannt wait for this game to be released, Played Fight night round 3 for the ps3 absolutley phenomenal game good product by golden boy. Hope this one will top it, I reckon it will;) if there showin Tyson Vs Ali on the trailer. :D definitely waiting for this game , Myt even pre order it,

I remember most of us playing the FN3 demo to death during the 360's launch day month and then taking part in the OCUK FN3 tourny once the game went live. It sort of backfired because 95% of us were used to fighting on the left lol

Lets hope FN4 has less menus to navigate before you actually get into a fight too :)

Weird they didn't just reverse the game over live so everyone could be on the left...or at least give the option.

I loved this game. There was always a lot of satisfaction about picking apart a person with counters :D

Yeah I was just thinking that. Would have been a piece of cake to implement too. I'd guess they just plain didn't think about it.

Exactly. A lot of FN3 felt unfinished too. I still couldn't understand the FMV bit before a major fight where you see your fighter getting into a punching match with your opponent...and then it just ends. You're left thinking "Hang on...was I meant to have actually done something during that moment or what??".

This looks excellent, I just hope it's a but more fluid than the first as well as a bit faster. FN3 was excellent though, going on it tonight with a few mates! :D

Slightly disappointed to be honest, this one looks like it's all about haymakers too :(

Kind of ruined the previous game when it was nothing but haymaker and counter/parries

Out of curiosity, what was so bad about being on the right?
There was no actual hindrance, it just took a little getting used to once you'd already become accustomed to fighting from the left.

Depends what level of oppopnent you're up against. It didn't take to long to hit the level where throwing haymakers was the quickest route to getting yourself knocked out (this is all mp of course, in sp it certainly was easy enough to just spam haymakers).

After how much I liked FN3, I'm not really sure what to make of FN4. The fighters look more like caricatures for a start, and if it's true that it forces the use of the analogue sticks then I may have to consider leaving this one alone.

Agreed, you should hardly ever haymaker in fnr3 unless you want to be ko'd in the first.
The game got better as people improved, infact it's the only early 360 game that I still play to date. I always thought it was cool that you can usually find a way to counter any cheap style if your good enough. SP sucked, but it was the best multiplayer game on the 360 tbh.
