I currently have a Fiio E11 which I use a Fiio L9 connector to hook up my iPad or iPod.

From what I can find on Google the L9 has PCOCC-A Oyaide cable and I can't help wondering if I should spend some money on a better OFC/silver connector to improve the signal from the source to the amp?

Or am I just being a silly noob? :D

I'd say it's worth getting one that is less likely to die than the FiiO LODs, but buying an over-priced silver or OFC cable is a waste. What headphones or IEMs are you using?

Hd25-2 II but with an upgraded ofc and silver cable. Wasn't thinking of spending more than 30 quid, that's a sensible amount of money right?

looks like iBasso are hard to get hold of, lead times going back to feb according to some retailers..

Ah right I didn't check the CB07. I have the CB05 hooked up with my ipod classic and Headstage Arrow amp. I'd be surprised if you noticed any difference and there's no way of comparing unless you buy a few interconnects and A/B test lol.

I've got 2 pairs of HD25, one with the stock steel and the other with an OFC cable. I can't say I notice any difference between them, although some say copper cables mellows out the peaky treble on the HD25.

Haha you kidding me, didn't read it like that.

Err that listing sounds kinda sexual.
