Just read something (had to check its not 1 april) --- apparently if you have a pirate copy of vista, you wont be able to run all the shiny machine hogging bits cos its going to check for genuine windows, oh and if you buy a dvd with the basic home on it'll have the other ones on in case you want to upgrade :eek:

Apparently clever old vistas going to index and sort of open all the files in , say, a my pictures folder so your icons look nice, never mind if your not interested, you cant turn this 'feature' off. :cool:

Oh and apparently google are doing an os although its linux based.
