Filament Dryer Recommendations

I seem to have amassed a fair collection of filaments, mostly various forms of PLA that either sit in one of my AMS Lites or in cereal boxes with Dessicant.

However, I am in a converted attic where RH averages about 55%. Though I heat the space when I am in it and have a dehumidifier that I run first and last thing to keep it under control.

I just picked up some PETG and between that and thinking about how I store and cycle between filaments I probably need to consider a dryer.

What dryers do people recommend if I go down this route?

The Creality Official Space PI Filament Dryer Plus is currently £72. Ideally want a dual one but could get 2 singles etc.

SUNLU is also good brand for filament dryers.

I have a SUNLU S4 it might be one to consider, it does four spools at a time so good if you have a lot of filament. I got it for a lot cheaper when it was a Kickstarter but at the minute it’s £125.

I’ll check that one out, see if I can wait out a discount or something.

Edit: @wafflecart just seen the size of it. Probably going to stick with a two spool solution. Any recs?

The dual Creality looks quite good, although not checked reviews. I had a Sunlu S2 which I replaced with an S4, but the S4 is big an definitely overkill - a dual would have been a better option with hindsight. Both Sunlu ones worked well though I found.

I like the look/idea of the Polymaker PolyDryer system, but reviews don't seem great, and also it would likely get expensive quick.

I came to the same conclusion. Picked up the s4 in the end. With two ams lites it means I can drop four at a time to dry.

It’s not as big or as noisy as I was expecting and so far very pleased with it
