File renaming program.....

Anyone know of any program which will for example if i select about 100 files will go through them and replace all the _'s with spaces and make the start of each word a capital letter?
Got hundreds of files that are_named_like_this.doc and I want to clear them up a bit and i dont fancy sifting through each and every file manually removing the the underscores and replacing the letters with capitals.

Does anyone know of a program that can do this?

It's very easy to accidentally rename extra files (check how the selections work)
It doesn't check for name clashes. You end up with files names 'Copy Of blah blah' if there's a filename clash. There is an option for checking, but it's broken. It doesn't take into account the new file names.

It's hard to see exactly what is going to happen unless you use preview, which always opens up in a window too small.

All the options are layerd on tabs, in menus, and sub tabs. Finding which option you forgot to disable can be a hassle.

No support for Folder _renaming_ (can search and replace with a \ to creat a folder)


Good points, very fast, can apply same operation to many files in doifferent directories, in different stages. Very powerful renaming ability.
