File sizes on VR games

I have just bought the humble bundle VR and all 7 games downloaded within an hour

Which made me wonder what file sizes VR games are these days

why so small ?

Contractors is 22Gb
VTOL is only 680 MB
Into the Radious 8.2 Gb

etc

VR games tend to be more indy and don't have as many art assets, also as VR games can be more demanding, the graphics detail is often lowered to achieve high frame-rates at 90hz. Not everyone has a 3090

Other numbers from dedicated VR stuff:

65gb something in my Alyx install, 28gb on Wanderer, 26 on Arizona. There's a lot at around 10gb, stuff that incarnates as dedicated pcvr releases.

Just be thankful they're no longer updating Dirt Rally 2.0
