Sequels are not always a welcome addition to our beloved films. The Highlander should have been a standalone classic, and The Matrix was nearly ruined by its successors.

A relatively recent film that I would love to revisit would be District 9. I didn't love the film like some, but I did enjoy it, plus I felt that there was great scope for a follow up.

The question is, at a time when we are flooded by sequels, which film would you like to revisit and continue with the story?

Dredd (Karl Urban)

This film was Dredd, I loved it for what it was, now they need to expand the universe and bring in more of the backstory and lore.
It deserves a sequel, shame its profits were not great.

Another one for Dredd. Hopefully with a bigger budget, but that's probably unlikely.

Bill and Ted did get a sequel and it was **** :) Maybe they could do a new one and use some Benjamin Button style trickery to show them alongside their younger selves? That'd be pretty cool.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit. One of my favourite films ever, still unsurpassed in combining live action with cartoon, and even had a touted prequel in the making before it was canned.

Also, Ghostbusters 3 of course. :(
