how comes these have greatly different prices.

ive seen some as cheap as 19.99, while a HOYO pro1D one costs 89.99.

for a small filter that seems extreme, considering a small lense costs that much....

But i guess you get what you paid for, so the HOYO would be best?



edit: 58mm filter for Canon 18-55is and 55-250is.

A lot of the time peoples opinions aren't actually correct. They just assume the most expensive ones are the ones they should get because they have an expensive lens. So long as its not a ridiculously cheap one, like under £5, then you won't see any big differences. As its only one piece of glass it doesn't really matter if its coated or anything either.

I just bought a kood one off the bay for around £16 and it doesn't seem to affect image quality at all, but does improve the actual image.
