Looks good, only thing i would change is the case, I believe that is a dust magnet, have had a look at the Antec 300.

As above i would change the case, the 900 is a dust magnet with non existent cable management, get either the 1200 or even better a nzxt tempest or a coolermaster haf932.

What screen size is this for 1900-1200 ? if 1680-1050 a 4850 would be a much better buy allowing ou a much bigger budget for a better case.
Graphics cards come and go change mine once a year but the case stays for donkeys years.

If I had £80 ish quid for a case I'd get hiper osiris , akasa infinity zor, or source a nzxt tempest from elsewhere, unless you consider that blasphemy.

If you have 1k I would do something like this

2 fans doing pus-pull on the true... I would get the cheaper geil but it's out of stock and you have a bit of money left over for a aftermarket gfx cooler, but no idea what's good or not. Ultra quite, ultra overclockable machine.

Acidhell2's spec is a good one, minus the missing PSU :p Although I don't know if I'd want to spend £70 on a CPU cooler, even though you won't get better on air, but it is a bit much. Get the one you picked instead

Also if your only gaming at 1680*1050 just go for a 4850, more than enough for that resolution. It's fair enough you have £1k to spend, but you don't need to spend all of it to get a really good PC.

Your initial spec is good. If you still want the 4870 I'd up the power on the PSU, get at least a 600W modular. For a 4850 the 520 one you've shown is more than enough. I'd also agree with the rest and get some decent 8500 ram, means you'll get a bigger overclock with the 8400.

The 900 is a good case, I have this and the 300. The 900 does collect a lot of dust, but I'm happy with it, although I only paid £55 for mine. I'd probably go for the 300, it's half the price and just as good.

This is what my updated basket currently looks like, Having altered a few bits, Funds should be in my account this afternoon (I hope!) So i'll be ordering today.
