This is a basic system for my girlfriend, basic needs for work etc but wanted a quickish system. No games etc to be played, reckon it will all be compatible and suitable for her needs? She wanted it all white so pairing it with:

And the student offer of £30 for Windows 7 Pro. Needed to be pretty much under £500 total so not too far over at the moment.

If it's just basic for work then you probably couldn't tell the difference between that and the cheaper AM3 option:

Asus M4A78LT-M LE AMD 760G (Socket AM3) DDR3 Motherboard £51.99
(£44.25) £51.99
(£44.25)
AMD Athlon II X2 Dual Core 245 2.90GHz (Socket AM3) - Retail £46.99
(£39.99) £46.99
(£39.99)

Apart from that, looks good. :)

Cheers guys, will have a look at the F3. Any experience with the built in graphics for the i3? Works right out of the box at 1080 res? Or is it like a standard on board graphics?

Never looked at the i3's myself but i too like Redmint says go for the AMD option because that motherboard will do 1080p etc out of the box im sure.

I have that mobo and the i3 530 on a WHS box.
You simply plug in and install all, then you DL the GFX drivers from the mobo website, or off the CD, and you're done, happily runs 1920*1080 from the desktop.
