Absolutely awesome mate! Couple of questions though. Read on Custom PC site that you need to run "Hitachi aplett" to get it to run in SATA 2 mode? Have had a look around the web and can't find anything though. Would have thought that the mb determined the mode it ran in?
OC the graphics card fine and will have a look round the site re overclocking the CPU. The Gigabyte cooler I have has the CPU around 25 degrees so this should be able to be pushed a bit further?

You need to download the "Feature Tool" from Hitachi and enable SATA II using the software. The default is SATA I for the sake of older motherboards.

Re: Overclocking
The 6600GT can be overclocked using CoolBits or RivaTuner.
The CPU can also be overclock very well. The following guide is the best I have seen:

Hitachi have placed all of their tools on one page, which is a little bit confusing.
If you click on this link, scroll 2/3 of the way down, untill you see a big heading labelled "Feature Tool (v2.00)"
