Over the last two/three months I've been saving up for a new TFT, either 17 or 19 inch. Max budget is £190 including delivery, any recomendations? I've never compared a 17 and a 19 together so not sure if you notice the difference. I game a lot and watch a few films now and then. Although I MAY be swayed to wait an extra four weeks where I'll have a slightly bigger budget :p

Thanks once again.

i think getting a 19" is certainly worth doing, the extra size really adds to immersion in games and movies and given there are some very god 19" models at the price range, it would be a shame not to. The Samsung 920N (previously the 913N) and the ACer AL1916W are both VERY popular and very good. Even if you had a £150 budget, you probably would find yourself being referred to these anyway, both very good screens. Plenty of info on both in the sticky which is worth checking out :)

yep i've seen that. Tbh customer support can vary so much from user to user, remember, you only tend to hear negative things about this aspect on the net. Something to be wary of as some manufacturers offer very good support on the most part.

However, if I was to purchase it (Sorry for hijacking slightly)...Is it a good monitor not just for the money/cost however compared to other 19" widescreen's such as the viewsonics are like £260 not seen exact price...

Sorry, not 100% sure what you mean, do you mean "is the Acer AL1916W a good screen compared with some of the more expensive £250-260 Viewsonic models"?

which models in particular?
