final fantasy 9 coming to pc 2016

Never played a FF game before, well i tried a psx 1 demo once but didnt like it that every 2 seconds you got a fight come up which i hated. Also the battle system was too involving i prefer non turn based like zelda on the snes.

Is any of the FF games for me or are they all turn based with complex menu systems, are any of them full voiced in english so i dont have to spend ages reading text? Any of them action based instead of turn based?
 
Got this for android, it's good but the low resolution backdrops do look particularly bad at times on my tablet.

Not had much time to play it unfortunately.

Sounds like FF12 is up your street. Non turn based battles, almost fully voiced, and the menu system isn't too bad.

Try 12. The gambit system they use for the battles is excellent.
 
Wow, that was kinda unannounced.

Its gotta be on GMG or something, little cheaper with the discount codes, I can't check, in work.

Oh wow, £15.99, Aint that more than FF13? What have they done to make this quite a substantial price?

XIII was probably fairly straight forward to port from the last gen consoles and the rest of the Final Fantasy games on Steam have already had ports on numerous other systems. As far as I know (along with the mobile ports which I imagine was worked on together with the PC port) is the first time it's been ported to anything other than the Playstation. So either they're charging a premium because it cost them more as it was more difficult to port or they're doing it because it's harder to find elsewhere other than on PS.
 
been playing ff9, just like ff7, im loving it, only bout 1hr in tho but yeah i know i will love this game :)

FF9 is a throwback to the more traditional style of earlier FF's. It's many people's favorite of the series.

You should definitely play it if you liked FF4-6

Played 7,8 and 9 to death with my grandad it wasn't too much later that we played the rest of them. Amazing series of games that will never age or get outdated for me.
