Final Fantasy VII - Now on steam.

I've just told myself I have to move on. I am not giving in. I'll only play a full remake if I were to play it again.

Partial controller supported... If this works with a 360 controller. Sold!

Without faffing with xpadder or stuff like that.

I find the games that say "partial" usually just have a box that pops up upon launching the game that you will need a mouse to navigate. Like Arma 3 does (not that I play that with a controller mind)

Hhhnnnggghhhh! Really want it, but I just can't justify £9.99 for it; not after I've already bought it about 3 or 4 times already over the years :p If this comes on sales for 25% (ideally 50%) off I'll snatch it straight away. The achievements looks a little boring also :/

Sooo tempting.

I remember my dad playing this, REFUSING to let me go near it. When he finished it, I remember him handing me a binded folder, with a several hundred A4 page, printed on both sides... It was a guide to the game.

"Take this seriously" were his words, lol.

I now own 5 versions of this game :')

Buying the steam copy has put my total up to 9 copies :D

UK PAL (black label) - PS1
UK PAL platinum - PS1
JPN Original - PS1
JPN International (ultimate hits) - PS1
US (black label) -PS1
PC version
Advent children collectors box - PS1 with the printed discs
PSN - for PSP/Vita/PS3
Steam

I didn't buy the SE version because well.... didn't see the point. I like having games on steam though :)

I think I have an addiction :( lol

God i love this game, such a tempting buy!

I'm not sure if I'm emotionally stable enough to experience the end of disc 1 again though....
Don't look at me like that, you all cried I know it :(

Its a bit anoying that the game purchased from SE's website when it was released cant be activated on Steam. WHY U DO THIS SE!?

This is good news although I can't really justify buying it. I bought it on the PSN store ages ago and I'd much rather play it on my Vita.

Does anyone have a list of the achievements?

Awesome dad!

My dad installed it on the PC in 1997, played ten minutes and told me it was a rubbish, rubbish game. It took me another three or so months to "try" it out, and I was instantly hooked!

Annoyingly the game would crash often due to the limitations of our PC. So after beating a boss, it would be a 50/50 chance whether I'd see the cutscene after or have to hard reset the game. I must say, this didn't deter my experience at all.

Haha, brilliant.

At the time, my old man was working at Microsoft, and he had printed the stuff out on dot matrix print... God knows how long it took!!!

I think I still have it in the loft haha. And still remember him sat on the sofa watching "No!! You foool, noooooo... Yep, you died, tell me why you died..." He loved it haha.
