I know this is a long shot but after seeing the 'Lend Me Rock Band' thread I thought I might as well ask here so does anyone have a spare disc 1 of the original EU FFVII lying around? Maybe your other discs got scratched and only disc 1 works?

Anyway my brother lost mine ages ago and I'm left with only discs 2 and 3 but I'd be quite happy to compensate anyone who went to the trouble of looking one out.

I've already tried in the wanted section in the members market and am constantly scanning the bay for one but with no luck as yet.

Good luck with your search, I suspect you'll have a tough job finding just the one disc by itself.

You'll be looking at £40+ for a copy, even on platinum. :(
 
Sorry mate but individual disks sell for up to a tenner each on a popular auction site, borrowing someone's copy of rock band and effectively asking for £10 are a pretty different kettle of fish. I doubt you'll have much luck, but good luck none the less.

If it's any help; i just had a look on an auction site and found two guys selling their disks separately

Scrounge Update:

I managed to get a copy off of an auction site for £18 delivered (all 3 discs and box but no instruction booklet) so I can make a full version once more.

If it's true you can get about a tenner a disc then I'll try selling the spares and get my money back.

I think we should set up a scrounging thread (scrounger covers postage etc). I want some old PS2 games that I may have missed.

Good idea that. I've got a lot of crap that's too good to chuck away and too much hassle to sell.

Might post a list later.
 
Sold my copy of FFVII for £18~ on ebay a few months ago; it's worth more than £3.
 
I still have mine, it'll never be sold. I have not come across any secondhand copy as pristine as mine. Complete with those catalogue booklets.



Also another one for FF fans, Final Fantasy Tactics, US version.

On a serious note...I had the original art work ones. And my first disk got damages by my cousin. I wanted to Murder. They were awesome condition :(
 
I've been playing this non-stop on my PSP, the smaller screen is very friendly on the graphics and I'm just as addicted to it as I was first time around.

Ok you win, it's a platinum copy. :( Still, chances of it being sold are somewhere between nil and zero.
